Hadi Teherani – 25 years of architecture / 15 years of design

»To guide everyday life for the human being responsibly into the future. In my opinion, that’s what my mission as an architect and designer involves. And that’s why the mentally targeted objective fundamentally takes priority over the work on function and form. In the broadest sense, a passion for the principle of emotion and progress, for ecological and, from an energy standpoint, intelligent solutions that don’t ‘hem in’ but generate enthusiasm and movement instead. This guideline defines my work: in our architecture for 25 years now, in our product and interior design for 15. That’s why our exhibition in the Europa-Passage complex, which has been in existence for almost 10 years, a hub and pivotal point in Hamburg’s inner city, shows problem-solving approaches and interim results as well as new goals and experiments, from the tiniest to the biggest issue, and ultimately oriented to the increasingly acute conditions on this planet. Comfort and luxury no longer require the one- dimensional pomp of the past: they are founded on complex holistic ideas for a future to be newly conceived and realised in a responsible way. «Hadi Teherani
